I live in an area that doesn’t have a gym, so I was looking to purchase some home gym equipment and was wondering how well the blowflex home gym really works. I want to get toned and taunt.
Currently, I use a Denise Austin manual treadmill about 3-5 times a week and walk 4 miles on it.
I’m not interested in the bowflex treadmills–I am interested in the bowflex home gym.

i’m a 17 year old girl, 5′2” and 151 pounds. i was just wondering about how many calories a week i would burn if i followed this workout plan:
monday/wednesday: 1 hour spinning class at local gym. 15 minutes weight lifting (lower body) on a bowflex
tuesday/thursday: 20 minutes jogging, 20 minute dance workout dvd, 20 minutes on stair master, 15 minutes weight lifting (upper body) on bowflex and with free weights
friday: 1 hour "power sculpt" class at local gym. 45 minute brisk walk on treadmill (4-4.5 mph, about 10% incline)
saturday: 20 minutes jogging, 20 minute dance work out dvd, 15 minutes doing ab workouts (crunches, leg lifts, and some ab stuff on the bowflex), 20 minutes elliptical
sunday: REST
about how many calories do i burn a week? also, how many calories should i be eating to lose around 2-3 pounds a week?
thanks!

I have a budget of 0.
I’m interested in Weight Loss (40 lbs) , Improved Energy, and some Toning.
Confused by all the different kinds of equipment available, not sure which is best for my needs.
Treadmill, Bicycle, Elliptical Trainer etc. I’ve seen lots of Nordictrack and Bowflex commercials, but I believe they are out of my price range.
Winter will be here soon and I know I will not have the will power to do my walking or pay money to drive to a gym everyday, I know myself too well. I enjoy being at home anyways.

Anyone had experience with a bowflex? Right now, I go to the gym, but the problem is that it is packed every time I go and it is difficult finding machines and weights to work out with (I go after work). Is a Bowflex worth the money and will I be able to get the same results as if going to the gym?

I do shrugs for my upper neck/trapezius muscles. How can I train the lower part of my traps in the area of my upper back?
I have a home gym similar to a bowflex…it can do just about any exercise. What’s the best thing for me to do, to work my lower traps with it? Please do not give me some crazy answer that doesn’t make sense, if you have no idea.

okay, i want to get one of these, is the 5 excercises for the xtreme 2 worth the extra 500. i dont see much other difference, i think the only difference is mostly in like a stiff leg and a few leg excercises and also a few chest excercises, since i dont know about those excercise i cant tell myself if they will be missed.

Im a 14 year old boy and last year my grandma bought me a bowflex. I use it but I kinda of think its a waste and want to sell it. I know she probably wont let me but I would rather just get like a trainer at a gym, I already run, Ill keep it it just seems kind of stupid now because what will happen to it later in the future years? I think it was a waste, what should I do? and how could I sell it if I convince her?

A Total Gym or Bowflex? I have both! I use my Total Gym a lot more than my Bowflex. I combine free weights with my program and it works rather well.

I’m a dude and I’m new to this whole college thing. I don’t usually work out at gyms because I had free weights and a bowflex at home but now I’m in college and we got this huge gym called Payne Whitney that’s supposedly the second largest gym in the world and it’s always packed. Anyway I’m pretty toned and I wax my chest, pits and back every month but should I work out topless like I do at home? Will that attract women too?

I recently purchased a Bowflex PR1000. I haven’t received it yet. While I was deciding to purchase I was looking on Bowflex’s site and they only have the "Home Gym Classic", no PR1000. So I was wondering what’s the difference between those two and is there a big difference between the PR1000 and PR3000?

Im 14 years old, 5ft. 9in. and a 195 lbs.And love playing the game of baseball. I Play 1st and backup catcher and full time practice catcher. My dream is to go to Texas and play for the longhorns win a few Nat. Championships. Then get drafted into the mlb. I wanna play for the Reds or Yankees.
yes, I know im a few pounds overweight. But I spend 2 hrs on the bowflex, 3 hrs in the batting cage an 2 more hrs fielding ( grounders, popups.etc) everyday, even on game days. And i usally try to run at least 2-3 miles a week. And also 20 push ups and sit ups every morning when i wake up and every night before i go to bed.
I hit for power. this was my 1st year of A-Leauge baseball and we played 35 games and I had a .474 average,22 homers,56 rbis, and 16 doubles. I also had at least 3 hits a game and my fielding percentage was .999.
So my friends, coachs, parents, friends parents and trainer say i can and will go pro
So, What Do you think?

Michael Cole and Vickie Guerrero….would the audience throw trash at them? Just think about it by the power of EXCUSE ME and CAN I GET YOU ATTENTION PLEASE….would draw so much heat that it would cause global warming.
Or would it drive the fans into such a frenzy that they would send the ratings to 0.0002 which would be below Bowflex informercials being shown late night at 3 AM.
it was a VINTAGE misquote.
